- The Artist -

"My art is merely an expression of my constant pursuit of knowledge and experience in life. For as long as I can remember I have enjoyed creating new and original art. Starting in elementary school with an interest in drawing and design. I soon became obsessed with learning and teaching myself new creative skills no matter how odd or irrelevant. This mentality allows me to lead an enriched and experienced life that I am now able to translate through my art. Using a variety of original and traditional techniques that stem from many different crafts, along with the desire for technical perfection. I aim to create new and never before seen art pieces that reflect upon me as an artist."

Early Beginnings

Starting with drawing in elementary school, Jacob has always had an interest in the arts. By the time he entered high school Jacob had the opportunity to attend his schools woodworking program. This is where his love for making art truly took off. During this time Jacob would skip class and lunch to spend more time in the woodshop allowing him to start honing his skills as a craftsman and designer.

Discovering Glass

After high school Jacob lost access to the woodshop and all the necessary equipment needed to continue his artistic pursuits. So he soon began the process of the buying tools needed to begin his own woodworking business. During the process of buying new woodworking equipment he saw a listing of stained glass equipment for sale. Curious about the art of glasswork and the thought of combining the two mediums. Jacob purchased the equipment and began teaching himself the art of stained glass 

Full-Time Artist

After learning the art of stained glass Jacob had an opportunity to pursue glass art as a profession. Not wanting to miss the opportunity, Jacob sold most of his belongings, left his hometown and moved across the country to pursue his dream of becoming a full time artist. Ever since, Jacob has worked relentlessly to create original artworks that push both the limit of artistic innovation and technical skill to unseen levels.

As Jacob continues to piece the puzzle of life together through art and creativity. He will do his best to share his art and experiences with the world.
